A sample letter
This is the letter “You made the Nice List”, filled in for Ella. In the builder you change the details, edit any sentence, and see it in Santa’s handwriting before you pay.
Dear Ella, Ho ho ho! I am writing to you from my workshop at the North Pole, where the elves are busy and the reindeer are practicing their takeoffs. I can hardly believe you are already 7! I checked my list this morning, and I checked it twice. I am delighted to tell you that your name is on the Nice List! I am so proud of you for learning to read chapter books. That kind of thing never goes unnoticed up here. Please give your cousin Sam a big hug from me. Remember to go to bed early on Christmas Eve. I only visit when everyone is fast asleep!
With love and jingle bells,
Santa Claus

What makes it work
- You only need their name and mailing address. Ask Mom or Dad for one thing they did this year.
- Order one per grandchild so each gets their own envelope. Additional letters in the same order are discounted.
- Tell the parents it is coming, so they can be at the mailbox with a camera.
- Add the thank-you note so a second envelope arrives after Christmas.
Lines worth borrowing

How the letter is made
Every letter is written stroke by stroke with a real pen, in real ink, on Santa’s letterhead. The pen is held by a writing machine, which is how we can write thousands of letters and still have each one be actual pen on paper. The envelope is addressed to the child in the same ink. See how it works.

Can Santa write to the grandparents instead?
