Now writing letters for Christmas 2026
Not a printout. Santa’s pen writes every word on paper, about your child: their name, their big year, the thing they’re proud of. Then it lands in your mailbox with their name on the envelope.

The Workshop · North Pole
Dear Olivia, Ho ho ho! I am writing to you from my workshop at the North Pole, where the elves are busy and the reindeer are practicing their takeoffs. I checked my list this morning, and I checked it twice. I am delighted to tell you that your name is on the Nice List! Remember to go to bed early on Christmas Eve. I only visit when everyone is fast asleep!
With love and jingle bells,

Why kids believe it
So ours doesn’t. Every letter is written stroke by stroke with an actual pen. The ink sits on the paper. The lines aren’t perfect. Tilt it under a lamp and you can see where the pen moved.
And it knows things. That they learned to swim this summer. That the dog is called Biscuit. That they’re still working on sharing with their sister. That’s the moment their eyes go wide.
Written, not printed
A real pen and real ink on heavy letterhead.
Their name on the envelope
Inked by pen, with a North Pole return address.
Nothing gives it away
No logo, no receipt, no price inside.
Yours to keep
The kind of thing that ends up in the memory box.

Dear Olivia, Ho ho ho! I am writing to you from my workshop at the North Pole, where the elves are busy and the reindeer are practicing their takeoffs. I can hardly believe you are already 6! I checked my list this morning, and I checked it twice. I am delighted to tell you that your name is on the Nice List! I am so proud of you for learning to ride your bike without training wheels. That kind of thing never goes unnoticed up here. The elves tell me you have been hoping for a telescope. I will see what my workshop can do. Rudolph already knows the way to Cedar Falls, so don’t you worry about a thing. Please give your little brother Max a big hug from me. Remember to go to bed early on Christmas Eve. I only visit when everyone is fast asleep!

Their name, their big year, the thing that made you proud. It takes about three minutes.

Got your own idea? Choose “Write my own” and Santa’s pen will write exactly what you say.
If we get anything wrong — a name, a package, a letter that arrives damaged — we rewrite it and mail it again at no charge, or give you your money back. Your choice.
For the grown-ups
It is written by a real pen with real ink on real paper — you can see the ink sit on the page and the pen strokes vary. Santa is a busy man, so the pen is held by one of our writing machines (we call them the robot elves). It is not printed, and it does not look printed. That is what makes it feel real to a child.
Yes. As you write, you see the whole letter on Santa’s letterhead in the same handwriting the pen will use, and you can edit every word. The paper on screen is a picture of the stock; the handwriting is the real thing.
Their name, age, the thing you are proudest of this year, something to keep working on, a wish they have mentioned, and a sibling, pet or friend to name. Start from one of Santa’s letters or write your own from scratch.
You choose: as soon as it is written (in the mail within 3 business days), or a specific week in December so it lands closer to Christmas. First-Class Mail usually takes 3 to 5 days after that. Order early — the mailing weeks fill up.
We publish the cut-off at the top of the site and it counts down. After the standard cut-off, “Front of the sleigh” ($9) moves you to the front for a few more days.
Your child, by name, in ink, with a North Pole return address. Nothing on the outside mentions this site, a price, or you.
Never. Santa says he “heard about” a wish and “will see what the workshop can do.” What ends up under the tree is entirely up to you.
Yes — up to eight in one order, each with their own letter, package and mailing week. Every additional letter is $5 off, and you only type the address once.
If we get something wrong — a misspelling we introduced, a damaged letter, the wrong package — email elves@sentfromsanta.com and we will rewrite and re-mail it free, or refund you. If you spot a typo of your own, tell us quickly: we can fix it any time before the pen touches the paper.
We use it to write and mail the letter, and for nothing else. We do not sell it, we do not market to children, and children cannot use this site. See the privacy page for how to have an order’s details deleted.
Make this one of the ones they remember.
