The problem we solve
Parks departments, chambers of commerce, downtown associations and libraries run letters-to-Santa mailboxes every year, and every year volunteers stay up late answering hundreds or thousands of letters by hand. It is one of the nicest things a town does, and one of the hardest to staff.
We write those replies. Each one is personal, written with a real pen in real ink on Santa’s letterhead, addressed to the child by name and mailed to their home. You keep the mailbox, the photo opportunity and the goodwill. We take the writing.
How it works
- Collect letters as you always do. Ask families to include a name and return address.
- Send us a spreadsheet. One row per child. Add a detail or two if you have it: age, what they asked for.
- Approve the wording once. We set up Santa’s reply with your town or event named in it.
- We write, stamp and mail. Every reply is pen-written and mailed First-Class, on the dates you choose.
Who it’s for
- Parks & recreation departments and special-events coordinators
- Chambers of commerce, Main Street and downtown associations
- Malls, garden centers and retailers with a Santa visit
- Schools, PTAs, daycares and libraries
- Employers who want a letter from Santa for every employee’s child
- Real estate, insurance and other businesses sending to clients’ families
Prefer to let families order their own?
Join the partner program instead: you get a code and printable QR cards, families get $5 off, and your organization earns $5 per order. It works well as a school fundraiser.
Questions
How do we send you the children’s details?
A spreadsheet with one row per child: first name, last name, mailing address, and any optional details such as age or what they asked for. We send you a template.
How many replies can you write?
From a few dozen to several thousand. Because the letters are written by machines holding real pens, volume is not a problem; timing is, so talk to us before your mailbox opens.
Can a local business sponsor it?
Yes. Many programs are funded by a sponsor. The reply can include a line such as “with thanks to the elves at Maple Grove Hardware” if you want it to.
What does it cost?
It depends on volume and what goes in the envelope. Email us your expected number of replies and timing for a quote.
